Across the board, the summer months were a bit rough for Washington sports betting news, but just like several other states in the USA, a bounce-back appears to be on the way for September. This is no surprise, as NFL action is officially back in your lives and people are loving every minute of that. With that said, the Seahawks are powering a strong sports betting month for Washington and it’s been amazing to see.

Per reports, the Seattle sports betting market is off to a strong September and it has been a head-turning improvement from what we saw in August. Again, this is a bit of a no-brainer, as the Seahawks are back in action and they’re off to a 2-1 start so far this campaign. Seattle opened the season with a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Rams at home, but they responded with wins over the Lions and Panthers.

The Seahawks also figure to bring in plenty of wagers over the next few days as well, as Seattle will take on the New York Giants in Week 4 for a Monday Night Football tilt. The Giants opened as 1.5-point favorites to win, but that line has now dropped to even. Will Seattle come out on top?

With how tight things have been, people all over Washington have been betting not only on the Mariners to make the postseason, but on every single game too. It has been a bit of a rough stretch for Seattle of late, which included getting swept by Texas last weekend. That set them back in the standings and had people quite nervous about their closing abilities.

While this was a major bummer for the club, it resulted in some big wins for the local sportsbooks, as the majority of the wagers placed were on Seattle to top Texas. Now, similar to the Seahawks, there are going to be plenty of wagers placed on the Mariners the rest of the week with the regular season about to wrap up. Will Seattle be able to take down Houston in the series finale and then the Rangers in key games this weekend?

That’s the question that people can’t wait to find out. There’s a ton of pressure on Scott Servais and Co. to deliver. If they struggle and don’t get hot at the dish or with their pitching, then this team could end up watching the playoffs from home.
