Three More Washington State Casinos Will Add Sports Betting

In a major positive for Washington sports betting news, we have seen more locations open up for legal wagers to be placed. There is still hope for an expansion on non-tribal lands, but things remain a bit unclear there. However, additional tribal casinos have added sports betting over the past year and more are on the way. According to a report, three more Washington State casinos will add sports betting.

This is a major win for everyone involved. Per that same report, Colville Gaming LLC revealed that it has reached an agreement with International Gaming Technology for three more casinos to indeed add sports betting. Those three casinos are located in the cities of Manson, Coulee Dam and Omak. Additionally, online betting will also be permitted on those tribal lands, which is another added benefit for sports fans in the area.

“Thanks to IGT we feel confident in our ability to provide our guests with an exciting and secure sports betting environment, and we look forward to opening our doors to sports enthusiasts soon,” 12 Tribes Colville Casinos COO Tony Posey said via a news release posted recently.

This news is great for people located more in the central part of the state. Unfortunately for people in Seattle, these three casinos aren’t located too close, as they’re all at least 175 miles away. However, the Manson area is a popular tourist attraction, especially in the summer. Because of that, adding sports betting to the area is only going to bring in more people moving forward. The sports betting numbers in Washington have been impressive and the added casinos will surely help.

Seattle Mariners bets continue to be strong in Washington

In more great news for the state and lawmakers, Seattle Mariners bets continue to be strong in Washington. This shouldn’t be a surprise at all, as the Mariners have been able to bounce back after a rough start to the season. As of this writing, the Mariners are in first place in the AL West with a small lead over the Texas Rangers. This has been a stunner, as Texas won the World Series last year and a lot of people expected them or the Astros to win the division.

However, the Mariners are hoping to have a say in things and they’ve looked strong over the past month. A big reason for that has been the stellar performance of the starting rotation. The group is led by hurler Luis Castillo, who is one of the best pitchers in the American League. Castillo is also a fan favorite, as people all over the city and state love it when he takes the mound. He’s been impressive this year and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Offensively, the Mariners have caught fire of late, with Julio Rodriguez, Cal Raleigh and others impressive. J-Rod is one of the best young talents in the game and people were excited to see him hit his first homer at home against the Athletics over the weekend. The hope is that Rodriguez can keep heating up, especially as we get closer to the All-Star break. If the Mariners want to win the AL West, they’ll need Rodriguez to be at his best.

According to the best-rated sportsbooks, which includes the reliable Bovada review, the Mariners hold +225 MLB betting odds to win the AL West this season. This is something that people all over Washington are going to keep betting on, as Seattle hasn’t won the division since 2001. It will be interesting to see how Seattle ends up doing this year, but they have what it takes to make it a campaign to remember. And for the rest of the season, people will be betting big on them.

NFL betting is going to heat up in Washington soon

It goes without saying, but NFL betting is going to heat up in Washington soon. Why, you ask? Well, on Wednesday, May 15, the official schedule will be released for all 32 teams in the league and that obviously includes the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks missed the postseason last year, but they’re hoping the additions they made this offseason can help them get back to the playoffs.

Geno Smith will be back as the team’s starting quarterback and he’s hoping to silence some of his haters. This will also be the first year that Seattle will be without head coach Pete Carroll, who is no longer with the team. This is Year 1 for Mike MacDonald as the new head coach and the expectations are going to be quite high for him. Will he deliver?

Seattle may not have the best Super Bowl betting odds right now, but they’re ready to make a ton of noise in the NFC West. The 49ers may be the favorites to win the division, but Smith and Co. are hoping to prevent them from getting that job done. People in the state are going to be fired up to bet on the Seahawks once the season gets here, but they’ll be getting bets in once the schedule drops as well.
