In a major positive for Washington sports betting news, we have seen more locations open up for legal wagers to be placed. There is still hope for an expansion on non-tribal lands, but things remain a bit unclear there. However, additional tribal casinos have added sports betting over the past year and more are on the way. According to a report, three more Washington State casinos will add sports betting.
This is a major win for everyone involved. Per that same report, Colville Gaming LLC revealed that it has reached an agreement with International Gaming Technology for three more casinos to indeed add sports betting. Those three casinos are located in the cities of Manson, Coulee Dam and Omak. Additionally, online betting will also be permitted on those tribal lands, which is another added benefit for sports fans in the area.
“Thanks to IGT we feel confident in our ability to provide our guests with an exciting and secure sports betting environment, and we look forward to opening our doors to sports enthusiasts soon,” 12 Tribes Colville Casinos COO Tony Posey said via a news release posted recently.
This news is great for people located more in the central part of the state. Unfortunately for people in Seattle, these three casinos aren’t located too close, as they’re all at least 175 miles away. However, the Manson area is a popular tourist attraction, especially in the summer. Because of that, adding sports betting to the area is only going to bring in more people moving forward. The sports betting numbers in Washington have been impressive and the added casinos will surely help.

Offensively, the Mariners have caught fire of late, with Julio Rodriguez, Cal Raleigh and others impressive. J-Rod is one of the best young talents in the game and people were excited to see him hit his first homer at home against the Athletics over the weekend. The hope is that Rodriguez can keep heating up, especially as we get closer to the All-Star break. If the Mariners want to win the AL West, they’ll need Rodriguez to be at his best.

This will also be the first year that Seattle will be without head coach Pete Carroll, who is no longer with the team. This is Year 1 for Mike MacDonald as the new head coach and the expectations are going to be quite high for him. Will he deliver?
