As much excitement as there is for the Mariners, don’t forget that Seahawks fans are ready to place bets on the action too. Seattle just had its preseason finale this past weekend and now all eyes will be on the regular season getting underway in a couple of weeks. The Seahawks made the playoffs last year, which came as a surprise for a lot of people. Geno Smith was named the starting quarterback and not a lot of people expected much from the NFC West side.
However, Smith was downright brilliant and he earned a massive extension this past offseason. Now, Smith is going to try and help the Seahawks win the division, as things feel like they’re pretty wide open. The Seahawks have great NFL betting odds to capture the NFC West, but the Rams and 49ers will surely make things tough for them too. It’s expected to be a down year for the Cardinals, with Kyler Murray still recovering from his torn ACL.
For the Seahawks, a lot of pressure is going to be on the young talent to step up, while health will also be a key factor. If he can live up to the hype, then it’s going to make life a lot easier for Smith and Co. All in all, it feels like the Seahawks could be in line for a memorable season.
