The fact that Delaware has posted back-to-back months of at least $13 million is definitely something that lawmakers and officials must be over the moon about.
Consistently, Delaware has been one of the lowest states around in terms of their betting handle. However, before legal mobile wagers were brought to the table, people in the state could only travel to three authorized in-person sportsbooks to get their wagers done. This of course made it quite difficult for people, as getting in their car and commuting for a sports betting purpose is quite inconvenient. However, that’s no longer the case.
With several sportsbooks in action, people are now free to place their bets from anywhere on the go. It’s no wonder that the betting figures have been so strong for the state over the past few months. Looking ahead to the rest of the spring and summer, something tells us that the good news is going to keep on rolling in for the state. This played a big-time role in the February betting numbers being so strong for Delaware too. For the rest of the season, Delaware fans will be keeping a close eye on the Phillies. That’s not all, though, as people also pay close attention to the Yankees and Mets. The Mets are off to a bit of a slow start, but the same can’t be said about the Yankees, who are in first place in the AL East.
New slugger Juan Soto has looked like one of the best players in the bigs, which has made Brian Cashman look fantastic. The Bronx Bombers are hoping to get back to the postseason. If they do, people in Delaware will continue to check the MLB betting odds and put money down on them, no doubt about that.
