This is exciting news and something that officials and lawmakers all over Sin City and Nevada have to be thrilled about. It was a groundbreaking week for Las Vegas as a whole, as the streets and hotels/resorts were packed with people from all over the world.
Things of course were highlighted by the Sunday showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. Before the game, tons of bets were placed, but then the action only picked up in the middle of the game thanks to how close things were. San Francisco jumped out to a double-digit lead, but the Chiefs were able to make things interesting late and they were able to force the overtime session.
Then in overtime, Kansas City was able to capture a memorable win. Patrick Mahomes won Super Bowl MVP, which was obviously something that plenty of people bet on too. The fact that more than $185 million alone was wagered on this game tells you how spectacular the Super Bowl can be for betting. All in all, it was an amazing week for Super Bowl wagers in Las Vegas. Only time will tell if this record will ever be broken, but a new standard has surely been set.

Kelce indeed wants to try and bring home another title.
With the Super Bowl set to be played in New Orleans next year, people are already counting down the days for the big game to arrive. While it won’t be played in Las Vegas, that doesn’t mean that the wagers on the game won’t be sky-high. With the Super Bowl betting odds already released for next year, bets are already pouring in, with the Chiefs getting a lot of attention. As big as the Super Bowl was, Las Vegas is already getting ready for March Madness wagers that will be coming sooner than you think. The regular season for NCAAB betting is going to be wrapping up soon and then it will be time to focus on conference tournaments. As soon as those come to a close too, then all the betting attention for college fans will be on the 2024 NCAA Tournament. As things stand, the UConn Huskies are the No. 1 team in the country, per the rankings, but other teams like Arizona, North Carolina and more will be ready to make a giant splash in the tourney. Don’t forget about the usual powerhouses like Duke, Kentucky and others. Soon enough, March Madness will take center stage and plenty of tourists will be making their way to Las Vegas. It will be interesting to see just how high the betting stats will be this spring.
