Argentina won group F with three wins in three games; Lionel Messi has been outstanding scoring goals all over the place.

“We started improving from the point of view of the structure. We see an improvement as a whole. I don’t like speaking about individuals. The strikers played a better game this time. The weakness we discuss at home in private. You can win not playing well and still have things to correct, I’m pleased about the nine points but I must always improve,” said Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella.

Switzerland knows they are the underdogs, and nobody will give them a chance.

“We are the clear outsiders, but we have nothing to lose and much to gain,” Switzerland coach Ottmar Hitzfeld said. We can make history.”

“Not only did we play a strong team but we played against the weather,” Hitzfeld told a news conference. The players showed the right attitude and will and we surpassed ourselves. Passion comes from suffering and we really suffered today.”

The World Cup odds have Argentina as the clear favorite to win this game and advance to the quarterfinals at -200; Switzerland is at +700 and the draw is at +350.  Whoever wins this game takes on Belgium or team USA.
