After drawing against CSKA Moscow (2-2) in the UEFA Champions league in the midweek, Manchester City will visit West Ham next Saturday, October 25, looking forward for their fourth victory in the Barclays Premier League. The kick-off is set for 7:45 a.m. Eastern.

The Sky Blues enter the game as favorites to win, sitting at -187 in the moneyline; a West Ham victory will pay +500 and the draw +300.

The teams have met 89 times previously; City has a comfortable lead in the head-to-head with 43 wins, 31 losses, and 15 draws. The recen history is even more lopsided. In their last six Premier League meetings, City has taken 16 of 18 possible points (five wins and one draw).

However, in their most recent Champions League game, the Sky Blues left two valuable points in Moscow, as the Russians scored twice to earn a draw in the dying minutes. Man City coach Manuel Pellegrini was disappointed with the late breakdown and said his team needs to keep their concentration for the entire game in order to win.

“Everyone must know that football is 95 minutes, we are playing away against a difficult team and they drew the game in the end but I don’t think that has a relation with the Champions League,” said Pellegrini in an interview published on the Manchester City website.

In the BPL table, Manchester City is in second place on 17 points (5W, 2D, 1L) and a +10 goal difference. After finishing in 13th in the table last year, West Ham sits in a surprising fourth at the moment with 13 points (4W, 1D, 3L) and a +4 differential.

Though West Ham has looked strong this season, bet Man City to win at home.
